Port Douglas Daintree Guide (Queensland, Australia)
Kuku Yalanji Country in Tropical North Queensland is the only place in the world where two World Heritage sites meet - the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The Kuku Yalanji people have lived in this region for more than 50,000 years and have a deep connection with the land. It was such a privilege to spend time getting to know this country on my two visits back in October and November 2020. I was lucky enough to spend time with a number of Kuku Yalanji people and yarn with them about their life on this land. In this guide, you will find all my favourite recommendations on how best to enjoy your time here. Life moves slowly in Tropical North Queensland and you will be dazzled by its magic.
